Baseball Food

There are a lot of memories both good and bad that come with attending a major league baseball game.  If your team wins, they are usually good memories, if they lose, you usually want to forget all about the game.  Other memories that come with attending a baseball game include the atmosphere in which the game takes place.  In Chicago, some games can be played in winter conditions with snow and freezing rain coming down.  Other games are played in the dog days of summer with the intense heat beating down.  Aside from the actual baseball game and the weather, good food at a baseball game has a large impact on fans experience.  Every baseball game is not complete without a grilled hotdog.  At U.S. Cellular, may fans enjoy their own food outside the stadium but once they head inside most cannot resist and end up getting a grilled hotdog with onions.  The aroma of ballpark food that hits you upon entering is one that cannot be described by anything else.  The foods offered are ones that most people would not eat on a normal day, but being at a White Sox game requires you to eat the food associated with baseball.  Hotdogs, burgers, Connie’s Pizza, cotton candy, pretzels, Italian Ice, and not to mention the ice cold Miller Lite are among the many food choices available at U.S. Cellular Field.  And as all White Sox fans know, Miller is the only beer served.  Forget Old Style, it’s all about Miller on the Southside.
