Comcast v. WGN

Each sports team has a network they are accustomed to.  Notre Dame has NBC, the Cubs have WGN, and for the White Sox, that station seems to be Comcast Sports Net.  Over the past few years, Comcast has moved its way up in the sports casting channels.  Although the White Sox do often air on other stations such as WGN and WCIU, the majority of their games are on Comcast Sports Net.  It is evident that the Sox seem at home on Comcast, because they have many old players and coaches who appear on pre and post game segments giving their take on the performance of the White Sox.  It is important for teams to have a station that they can relate with.  The Cubs do broadcast on Comcast Sports Net from time to time, but the majority of their games are on their home network, WGN.  It is evident that WGN is a proud supporter of the Chicago Cubs, so it only seems right that CSN should support the White Sox.  After all, after the recent commercial aired promoting the new MLB video game and proclaimed the Cubs had won the World Series, Chuck Garfien, a lead Comcast Sports Net anchor, was in an ad talking about how the White Sox actually did win the World Series, making Cubs fans look somewhat ridiculous.  Whether or not Comcast Sports Net wants to be the station of the White Sox or not, they are.  Just as The Score 670 has taken over as the White Sox radio host, Comcast has taken over as their home television host.
