Best Seats in the House

With opening day quickly approaching, fans are eager to step into the stadium and see what this years team is going to look like on the field. As excitement mounts, fans are buying tickets and wondering where they want to sit during this season’s most important games.  Upper deck, lower box, fan deck, beer garden or go all out and get the scout seats.  Over the course of my life, I have sat in a vast amount of seats at The Cell.  My personal favorite is behind either dugout.  You are so close to the field that it actually seems as if you are sitting on the bench with the players.  It’s easy enough to call to the players and give them encouragement or as some people do, heckle them.  Although I choose to refrain from heckling, it is often entertaining to hear other fans shout at opposing players who are underperforming.
Other favorites include the Patio in right field.  Surprisingly, a spot, which looks as if it would be an awkward angle, is a great spot to sit back and watch the game.  There are many amenities in the Patio, including a full service bar and for special occasions, the outside area can be rented out and includes a food.
Realistically, any seat in the stadium is worth the price.  No seats, other than skyboxes and scout seats are overpriced or out of the ordinary for a major market sports team.  Only a few more days until opening day, buy your tickets today!
